Lilyhammer – Staffel 1 [Blu-ray] und Lilyhammer – Staffel 1 [2 DVDs] erscheinen am 8. Mai 2014. Es handelt sich um die aktuelle Serie von Steven van Zandt. Lilyhammer ist eine norwegisch-US-amerikanische Krimiserie mit Little Steven in der Hauptrolle des New Yorker Gangsters Frank Tagliano, der im norwegischen Lillehammer ein neues Leben anzufangen versucht. Die Serie ist versehen mit viel schwarzen Humor. Staffel 3 wurde bereits gedreht (deshalb war Little Steven nicht bei llen Konzerten der vergangenen Tour). Im Pay TV sind Staffel 1 und 2 bereits gelaufen und werLlittle Steven mag, wird die Serie lieben. Natürlich findet sich auch die englische Tonspur auf   Blu-ray und DVD.

Bruce Springsteen: The Spirit of Radio (3cd Box)

Mit The Spirit of Radio veröffentlicht ein kleines Label am 30.05.2014 eine 3 CD Box mit Live-Aufnahmen aus den 70er Jahren.
Inhalt sind die beiden bereits erschienen Einzeltitel Bound for Glory (1xCD) und Live at the Main Point 1975 (2xCD) . Nur eben jetzt als The Spirit of Radio (3cd Box). Einfach die einzelnen Links für mehr Infos anklicken.  Bei allen erwähnten Titeln handelt es sich um keine offiziellen Veröffentlichungen. Die Aufnahmen liegen in „guter“ Qualität vor, da es sich um Radio Aufzeichnungen handelt. Aber Bitte erwartet keine Sony Qualität.  Die enthaltenen Konzert auf Bound for Glory (1xCD) und Live at the Main Point 1975 (2xCD) gehören in jede Sammlung , wenn er ein Fan der Anfangstage von Bruce ist. Wer sie also noch nicht hat, macht nichts falsch, wenn er sich die Box für 19,97 € hier:  The Spirit of Radio (3cd Box)vorbestellt.

Bound for Glory (1xCD) ist auch als Vinyl erhältlich: Bound for Glory [Vinyl LP] , ob hier ein Mehrwert an Soundqualität spürbar ist, bezweifle ich. Selbes gilt für die Vinyl Live at the Main Point 1975 [Vinyl LP].

Record Store Day Germany Auflistung und Single bei Amazon

Auch in Deutschland ist Bruce Springteen ist mit der 12″ American Beauty vertreten (wir berichteten: American Beauty 12″ Front Cover, Back Cover und Infos ! ) Des Weiteren ist seine Zusammenarbeit „Say Goodbye to Hollywood/Baby“ mit Ronnie Spector als 7″ Wiederveröffentlichung in der Liste dabei. Es ist die einzige Single der E STREET BAND ! Die Songs wurde von Little Steven produziert (produced by Sugar Miami Steve) ,  „Say Goodbye to Hollywood/Baby“ von Billy Joel zusammen mit Ronnie Spector geschrieben. Überraschenderweise kann die 7″ hier Say Goodbye to Hollywood/Baby [Vinyl LP] bei Amazon bestellt werden.

Nils Lofgren: Face the Music mit Bruce Springsteen?

Die Box mit 9 CDs, 1 DVD, 136-Seiten Booklet, 169 Tracks

Face the Music wurde heute vorgestellt und hier: Face the Music von Amazon gelistet . Es handelt sich dabei um eine 9 CD plus 1x DVD Boxet, dass nur für Amerika angekündigt wurde und als Import bei  Amazon (hier) angeboten wird. Der Preis liegt bei 146,97 €, was sehr viel Geld ist. Aber die Aufmachung macht einen vielversprechenden Eindruck.

Über die Tracklist ist wenig bekannt. Auf der Box sind 169 Tracks, 40 davon unveröffentlicht und selten. Es ist nur zu hoffen das Valentine das Duett mit Bruce Springsteen inkl. Musikvideo in der Box enthalten sind. Des Weiteren ist Bruce in dem 136-seitigen Booklet zu finden, dass von Nils zusammengestellt wurde, inkl. Track by Track Notes und einem Vorwort von Dave Marsh.

The stellar career of singer-songwriter-guitarist Nils Lofgren receives a comprehensive retrospective in Face the Music, limited edition nine-CD/one-DVD boxed set that is individually hand signed and numbered by the artist.

The collection s music component, selected by Lofgren himself, comprises 169 tracks, stretching back to Lofgren s early work with his Washington, D.C.-area band Grin, which he founded at the age of 17 in 1968, and surveying both his major-label solo albums and independent self-released music. In its entirety, the set gives a full-length, intimately detailed picture of the performer Neil Young who hired the 18-year-old Lofgren to play piano and guitar on After the Gold Rush in 1969 calls an inspiration to me for many years. A true triple threat, Lofgren has distinguished himself as the writer of melodic, affecting, and hard-rocking songs, a sensitive and seemingly ageless singer, and a guitarist of incomparable power and imagination.

American Beauty 12″ Front Cover, Back Cover und Infos !

12″ American Beauty

Bisher listet noch kein deutscher Anbieter die 12″ LP American Beauty. Nur tower.jp listet diese inkl. kleinem Bild. Wie wir bereits berichteten wird die 12″ anlässlich des Records Day (19. April) veröffentlicht. Sobald ein deutscher Anbieter die LP anbietet erfährt ihr es hier. Die 12″ soll eine Auflage von 9000 Stück haben.

Im Rolling Stone Interview gab Bruce bekannt, dass es sich bei den Songs um Demos und Outtakes der lezten Alben handelt und man den Plattenläden helfen möchte. Zitat: „It’s got some nice things on it. This is material from the past decade. Some were demos that I never cut. I believe „American Beauty“ was a demo I made that I didn’t end up cutting with Brendan. I believe „Hurry Up Sundown“ was the same thing. The other two songs, one was cut for maybe Magic or Working on a Dream and they’re just good music that didn’t get onto this record, and was sitting there. I thought it’s a nice time to support the record stores, which are dwindling and get some new music out at the same time.“

Am 06. April 2014 wird die E Street Band das NCAA March Music Festival, im Reunion Park, Dallas rocken.

U.a haben sich The Killers, Jason Aldean und Tim McGraw angemeldet.

Hinweis:

Der Reunion Park liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe der altehrwürdigen Reunion Arena, in der Bruce schon mehrmals aufgetreten ist.

Goodbye Down Under – Setliste vom 02.03.2014 Auckland, Mt. Smart Stadium, New Zealand

Hallo Tramps 🙂

Nach der fulminanten Show in Brisbane und einer, eher durchwachsenen gestrigen ersten Show, im Mt. Smart Stadium zu Auckland, fand am heutigen letzten Abend leider nichts Spektakuläres statt.

Sicherlich waren die jeweils 45.000 Bossanhänger an zwei Tagen völlig aus dem Häuschen.

Doch leider fiel die E Street Band wieder in ihren alten Tournee-Trott zurück und performte eine Album Show.

Nachdem gestern das Born In The U.S.A. Album komplett (zum x-mal) gespielt wurde, kam heute das Born To Run Album (auch zum x-mal) an die Reihe.

Schauen wir mal was sich der Boss für den amerikanischen Sektor vorgenommen hat. Denn am 8. April fällt der Startschuss der U.S. Tour in Cincinnatti.

Es ist wieder einmal sehr schade mitanzusehen, das die Rocklegende Springsteen mit seiner E Street Band, ständig auf die Standardsongs zurückgreift. Und nur alle Jubeltage, etwas ansatzweise verändert.

Sicherlich sind Album Shows schon etwas Besonderes, aber Bruce hat weitaus mehr Alben veröffentlicht als Born In The U.S.A., Born To Run oder Darkness On The Edge Of Town.

Genau da muß sich etwas ändern, sonst wird die High Hopes Tour am Ende eine Kopie der Wrecking Ball Tour. Und das, wäre sehr traurig !
