You Will Jump With The Boss ? – Setliste vom 06. April 2014, Reunion Park, Dallas

Hallo Tramps !

„This has something to do with basketball. Am I right?“

Mit diesen Worten betrat der Boss am gestrigen Abend vor rund 35.000 Fans die Bühne in Dallas, und hielt in seiner linken Hand einen Basketball.

Diese Geste ging eindeutig in Richtung der Dallas Mavericks und die E Street Band legte gleich mit dem Van Halen Klassiker Jump los.

Die Stimmung war trotz des regnerisch kalten Wetters großartig.

Badlands, Death To My Hometown und Cover Me folgten.

Es war eine typische Festival Setliste mit Gassenhauer wie Atlantic City, Hungry Heart und Glory Days.

Die Show endete mit einer Akustikversion zu Thunder Road.

Der Countdown zur U.S. Tour 2014 läuft – oder – Erleben wir den gewohnten Standard ? (von Thorsten)

Hallo Tramps !

Morgen Abend, den 06. April 2014, wird der Startschuss der U.S. Tour in Dallas fallen.

Das March Madness Music Festival im Reunion Park in Nähe der Reunion Arena, ist bereits ausverkauft.

Was wird uns Fans diesmal erwarten ?

Diese Frage werden sich wohl viele Tramps unter uns stellen, denn die Setlisten der vergangenen Shows waren alles andere als grandios.

Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn sich der Boss einmal mehr auf sein Gesamtkunstwerk berufen würde.

Denn die mittlerweile einstudierten Standard-Songs sind nicht grad die wohltuende Abwechslung. Zudem erwecken diese in unserem Fanherz, eine langsam aufkeimende Langeweile.

Obwohl ich seit 30 Jahren ein inniger Springsteen-Maniac bin, und in der Vergangenheit viele Europa-Konzerte besucht habe, sollte man sich auch mal Zeit für Kritik nehmen.

Sicherlich präsentiert der Boss hin und wieder mal ein paar Leckerbissen aus seiner Trickkiste wie z.B. Thundercrack oder Backstreets.

Doch seit dem bitteren Tod von Danny „The Phantom“ Federici und Clarence „The Big Man“ Clemons, ist die E Street Band nicht mehr so spontan wie sie vor Jahren war.

Mag sein das es an die neu zusammengestellte Bandformation liegt, die weis Gott ein tollen Job auf der Bühne macht.

Aber wie ich bereits im Vorfeld immer wieder gesagt habe, sollten die Shows einer Rocklegende wie Bruce Springsteen, abwechslungsreicher sein als bei einer „normalen“ Band.

Immerhin hat unser „Cool Rockin´Daddy“ ettliche Jahrzehnte Bühnenpräsenz auf dem Buckel, und sollte seine Anhänger mit ein paar Schmankerl verwöhnen.

Werden wieder nur die üblichen drei Komplett-Alben gespielt ?

Grad mit einer Bläserkapelle wären Songs von den Alben Greetings from Asbury Park oder Tunnel of Love eine wahre Wohltat.

Hoffen wir mal nicht, das sich Bruce bei seiner U.S. Tour nur auf die komplett gespielten Alben wie Born to run, Born in the U.S.A. oder Darkness on the edge of town beziehen wird.

Ab morgen Abend wissen wir mehr !
