Bruce kam mit seiner Familie eine Stunde vor Konzertbeginn auf die Bühne und spielt nur mit Gitarre „For You“.

Könnte natürlich sein, dass dies ein Tribute für seine Tante Dora Kirby war, die am Mittwoch (25. April 2012) im Alter von 92 in Freehold, NJ gestorben ist.

Die Show bekann eine Stunde später mit der Tourpremiere von NO SURRENDER. Tom Morello war wieder dabei. Und in den Zugaben gab es BOBBY JEAN als Tourpremiere.

Am 14. März und 15. März war Bruce bei den 30sten jährlichen Austin Music Awards. Am 14. März 2012 fragte Headliner Alejandro Escovedo „Is there a guitar player in the house?“ und Bruce spielte mit ihm ein kleines ‚Set. Sie spielten Jimmie Dale Gilmore’s „Midnight Train“ mit  Joe Ely, Alejandro Escovedo  Alway be a friend (bekannt von den Magic Tourhighlights ) Woody Guthrie’s „Goin‘ Down the Road Feeling Bad“ und einer extra langen Version von  Beast of Burden  von den Stones.
