Bruce sorgte am gestrigen Abend mal wieder für eine große Überaschung. Das zweieinhalbstündige Set beinhaltete ein paar Songs aus der Seeger Session Zeit.

Wie auf dem o.g. Foto zu erkennen, hatte die Band einen großen Spaß während des gesamten Konzerts.

Als Gaststar kam Dr. John auf die Bühne und jammte mit der Band 2 Songs.

Does this bus stop in L.A. ? – Setliste vom 27.04.2012, Sports Arena, Los Angeles

Bruce kam mit seiner Familie eine Stunde vor Konzertbeginn auf die Bühne und spielt nur mit Gitarre „For You“.

Könnte natürlich sein, dass dies ein Tribute für seine Tante Dora Kirby war, die am Mittwoch (25. April 2012) im Alter von 92 in Freehold, NJ gestorben ist.

Die Show bekann eine Stunde später mit der Tourpremiere von NO SURRENDER. Tom Morello war wieder dabei. Und in den Zugaben gab es BOBBY JEAN als Tourpremiere.

Das erste der beiden Konzerte in der Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena fand gestern Abend statt. Zu Gast war Tom Morello, der bei mehreren Stücken mitwirkte und auch Patti war wieder mit von der Partie.
Verglichen mit den letzten Konzerten war es mit 2 Std. und 45 Minuten eher ein „Kürzeres“, aber die Setliste spricht schon für sich und in den Zugaben gab es dann noch „California Sun“.

Den neuen Rolling Stone voll mit Bruce und einer 7″ Vinyl von Rocky Ground, hat sich bestimmt jeder von euch gekauft.
Ich wurde gerade von einem unserer Leser auf Facebook (jerseysound) auf den „Star Collector“ aufmerksam gemacht. Eine Schweizer Magazin, dass in der aktuellen Ausgabe Bruce Springsteen im Fokus hat. Er war so freundlich und sendete mir ein Foto vom Inhaltsverzeichnis:

3 Stunden und neun Minuten Bruce Springsteen live, dies erlebten die Zuschauer in San Jose. Bruce ist sehr gut drauf. Er spielte spontan „Murder Incorporated“ und „Johnny 99“ anstatt „Trapped“ und „Youngstown“, welche beide in der Setlist waren. Und wieder war Patti nicht dabei.

Am 03. September 2012 wird die E Street Band im 45.000 Zuschauer fassenden Citizens Ball Park von Philadelphia ein Zusatzkonzert geben.

Der Erwerb der Tickets ist allerdings je Bestellung begrenzt. Für den Innenraum kann man max. 4 Karten erwerben und für Tribünenplätze max. 10.

There´s a light of Day in Cleveland !

Die ausverkaufte Quicken Loans Arena erlebte ein stürmisches Konzert. Light of day und My love will not let you down waren Toupremieren und brachten die Mauern zum beben.

Wenn man sich die Setlisten der Tour ansieht, dann erkennt man bis jetzt eine klare Struktur. Die Schmankerl die Bruce seinen Fans allerdings bei jeder Show präsentiert, haben es in sich.

Remembering Danny Federici ♥

 

Hey Tramps,

heute vor 4 Jahren am 17.4.2008 starb Danny Federici in New York an einer besonders gefährlichen Form von Hautkrebs.

Danny der von der Band und seinen Fans „Phantom“ genannt wurde (weil er auf der Bühne immer so gut wie unsichtbar blieb) war Gründungsmitglied der E  Street Band und auch schon bei Child, Still Mill und der Bruce Springsteen Band dabei.

Ein letzte Mal holte Bruce, Danny am 20. März 2008 in Indianapolis auf die Bühne!

Gestern Abend spielte Bruce vor restlos begeisterten 17.500 Fans und brachte zugleich 3 Tourpremieren zum Besten.

Die Band betrat die Bühne zu dem Movie-Theme des Western Klassikers „Die glorreichen Sieben„. Hoffen wir das die neue Light-Show im Stadion genau so toll rüber kommen wird, wie in den U.S. Hallen.
